The Journey Behind NLPSD
I founded NLPSD to help ambitious soccer players become complete athletes. After more than a decade of playing professionally and mentoring athletes around the world, I created a development system that combines elite experience with evidence-based coaching to help players build the skills, confidence, and habits needed for long-term success.

Why This Matters to Me
Like many kids, I grew up playing every sport I could. I loved being active, competing, and trying new things, but soccer was always the sport that stood out to me. It became the game I couldn't imagine living without.
As I got older, my dream of becoming a professional soccer player grew, but my family and I had no idea what it actually took to get there. We didn't understand the pathway, the resources available, how important networking would become, or how to navigate the many challenges that come with pursuing a career in soccer. Like many families, we believed that if I worked hard and played well, everything else would take care of itself.
After high school, I played at two different universities because I believed college was the stepping stone to professional soccer. While I was grateful for those experiences, I often felt like I was one of the few players whose ultimate goal was to play professionally. It became clear that if I wanted to make that dream a reality, I couldn't rely on someone else to create opportunities for me.
During my second year of college, I made the decision to take ownership of my future. I started building relationships with coaches and clubs around the world while continuing to improve every aspect of my game. That decision changed my life.
At 20 years old, I signed my first professional contract and moved to Denmark in 2017, leaving the university system behind to pursue my dream. Since then, I've spent the last 10 years playing professionally in three different countries, winning the Scottish league, competing in the UEFA Women's Champions League, and experiencing firsthand what it takes to succeed at the highest levels.
Looking back, I realized that talent was never the only thing that helped me reach the professional game. It was having the confidence to create opportunities, learning how to build relationships, understanding the mental side of performance, and continuing to develop every part of myself as both a player and a person.
That's why I created NLPSD.
I wanted to give players and parents the guidance that my family and I were searching for when I was growing up. My goal is to help young athletes avoid years of uncertainty by giving them the tools, knowledge, accountability, and support they need to develop into complete players and pursue their goals with confidence.
What Makes My Coaching Different
Every player has different strengths, goals, and challenges. That's why I don't believe in one-size-fits-all coaching. My approach combines professional experience, sport science, and personalized mentorship to help players develop into complete athletes.
The Journey That Built NLPSD
2017
First Professional Contract Denmark
At 20 years old, I earned my first professional contract and moved from the United States to Denmark. It was a leap into a completely new culture and professional environment that taught me independence, resilience, and what it truly takes to compete at the next level.
While beginning my professional career, I also continued working toward my Bachelor's degree online, learning how to balance elite sport with higher education.
2018
Breaking New Ground
I became the first professional female player in the history of FC Nordsjælland and served as an ambassador for the club's girls academy, helping inspire the next generation of female footballers.
This experience reinforced my passion for mentoring young players alongside my playing career.
2019
Building Something Bigger
I became the first paid transfer between two women's clubs in Denmark, another important milestone in my professional career.
The same year, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology while playing professionally and began building what would eventually become NLPSD. During the uncertainty of COVID, I saw firsthand how many players lacked guidance, structure, and access to reliable resources.
That realization became the foundation for my business.
2020–2021
Champions League & Scotland
I signed in Scotland, won the Scottish Women's Premier League, and competed in the UEFA Women's Champions League during the 2020–2021 season.
At the same time, I began my Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology with Applied Practice online. Playing at the highest level while studying performance psychology gave me a completely new perspective on confidence, pressure, and athlete development.
2022
Move to Sweden
After returning briefly to Denmark, I signed with a club in Sweden, where I have continued my professional career ever since.
During my first season in Sweden, I finished as the top goal scorer in Elitettan while continuing to grow NLPSD and mentor players online.
2023
Becoming a Mental Performance Coach
My first season in the Damallsvenskan also marked the beginning of my work as a Mental Performance Coach.
I worked with a youth girls soccer team and a professional women's basketball team, helping athletes develop confidence, focus, resilience, and performance under pressure.
This was the year I realized I wanted NLPSD to become more than soccer training. I wanted it to become a complete player development system.
2024
Master's Degree & CMPC
I joined another club in Sweden while completing my Master's degree in Sport and Performance Psychology with Applied Practice.
That same year, I became a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), combining years of professional playing experience with evidence-based performance psychology.
2025
Doctorate & Top Goal Scorer
I transferred to another Swedish club and finished the season as the top goal scorer in Elitettan.
I also completed my Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Sport and Performance Psychology, becoming a Doctor while continuing to play professionally.
Every degree I have earned, from my Bachelor's to my Doctorate, was completed entirely online while playing professionally overseas.
Today
Professional Player | Doctor | Founder of NLPSD
Today, I continue competing professionally in Sweden's Damallsvenskan while mentoring ambitious soccer players around the world through NLPSD.
Everything I've experienced as a player, student, and coach has shaped the philosophy behind NLPSD: helping players develop technically, tactically, physically, mentally, and personally while giving families the guidance I wish mine had when I was pursuing the professional game.
Is NLPSD Right for Your Player?
NLPSD is a great fit if your player...
✓ Wants to reach their highest potential, whether that's high school, college, or professional soccer
✓ Wants to develop technically, tactically, physically, mentally, and personally
✓ Is willing to be coached and held accountable
✓ Wants to improve confidence, decision-making, and game understanding
✓ Is motivated to become the best version of themselves
NLPSD may not be the best fit if your player...
✕ Is only looking for extra touches on the ball
✕ Isn't ready to commit to consistent work outside of sessions
✕ Expects results without consistency
✕ Isn't open to honest feedback and accountability

"I highly recommend NLPSD in all aspects of soccer training. We initially did the mental coaching and quickly realized there is so much more that she can offer in the true development of the athlete. Whether it's in person (which we will gladly drive 2 hours just to train with her), zoom, or by video she sends, everything is so effective. She really cares about the well-being of her clients and the family. And that is more than a 5 star to me."
